This is how the Silky Professional works: the IPL hair removal device sends light pulses through the melanin to the hair roots. Heat is generated, destroying the root. After a period of three to twenty days, the existing hair falls out and will not grow back.
How does hair removal work?
The melanin in the hair absorbs the laser pulse light. The light energy is converted into heat beneath the skin, which prevents hair growth.
How long does it take to see results?
With proper use, the first results can be seen after 3 weeks.
Most people notice results and a change in hair growth after the third or fourth application.
However, every person is different, so treatment times may vary.
Will it work for me?
Silky Professional works perfectly with brown, black, and dark blonde hair on skin ranging from very light to dark brown.
Unfortunately, it does not work on light blonde, red, gray, or white hair, and is not suitable for very dark skin.
How do I use it?
1) Shave, wax, or use an electric hair remover on the area you wish to treat.
2) Wait for the first hairs to start growing.
3) Use Silky Professional at a 90-degree angle on the selected area with one of the available intensity levels.
4) Pass the device several times over the area and press the pulse button.
Always wear the included protective glasses.
